Villa Azul is absolutely stunning. The house is very large but still feels comfortable and intimate. We had every single thing we needed while there. The views are spectacular, and we spent quite a lot of time on the decks enjoying the scenery. We didn’t fully understand the procedure to get our rides to and from the airport as guests were arriving at different times, but it all worked out. Our chef Irvin and his assistant Berto made outstanding meals and drinks for us, with attention to every detail. They were just lovely to be around, sharing culture, language and bits of themselves with us. We felt right at home with them the moment we walked through the front door. We look forward to seeing them again! Ana, Esmeralda and Carlos were like ghosts, popping in, making everything beautiful, and disappearing again! They also made us feel very well cared for and right at home. This was truly a 5 star experience.
