Our group of 14 (7 couples) stayed at Villa Azul as a last minute alternative, since our original plans to the East Cape of Baja were ruined by hurricane Odile. Despite this, we had a great vacation! The house is 5 floors with private rooms but lots of common space too. The main floor (#3) has a great common area, pool, kitchen, and large dining table. The best part of the house by far is the spectacular view of the bay and especially the beaches, islands, and hillsides to the south. We cooled off in the pools and enjoyed our favorite drinks watching the sunsets and evening thunderstorms. The walk down to the main road can be challenging, thus I’d recommend a rental car for most, yet certainly could go without with bus service close. The maid, caretaker, and especially the chefs were excellent! We had dinners and breakfasts prepared most days, which were 5-star. In addition, one of the chefs, Rodrigo, was extremely helpful in providing ideas for day trips. We enjoyed trips south to Mismoloya, Boca de Tomatlan, and Playa Las Animas; and one day north to Sayulita as well. I would definitely recommend this home to the DIY-type of traveler. Would definitely rent again if in PV. E.S. Boise, ID
