Villa Azul is just stunning. She’s a grand lady that overlooks the ocean, offering a quiet place apart from the city. Getting into town is a quick and cheap Uber ride, but with all of this space, you might be tempted to spend all of your time at the Villa. The entire staff at Villa Azul provides comfortable luxury. Estella overlooks every detail, making sure that there are extra touches that will surprise and delight. She was able to help us decorate for our Dias de los Muertos celebration as well as make a birthday party extra special with decorations. We were treated to Chef Ervin’s creations at breakfast and dinner. It was easy to work with him to prepare menus, and his skills in the kitchen go beyond Mexican food. Please treat yourself to his excellent Asian menu. Chef will work with you and your budget to provide the freshest, most delicious dishes possible. He will also happily pick up the alcohol needed to keep your bar stocked. The other team members kept the house clean and the kitchen humming. We had an issue with the entire home losing water pressure due to a mechanical issue. Once it was reported, it was only a few hours before someone came to fix the problem and before the end of the day, everything was fine. The team at Villa Azul could not have handled this problem better. They took something that was out of their control and lept into action. Daniel was very patient with all of my questions and I am so appreciative that he worked with me. All of the rooms (except 1) are King beds. We think that the rooms are even better looking than they are in the photos. The master suite features TWO separate bathrooms that are open-air concept. It is a luxury to shower with the entire ocean in front of you. I am already looking forward to booking Villa Azul next year!
